Who doesn’t love going on vacation?! I surely do! When I think about vacation, I think about visiting fun places that my daughter would enjoy as well. We both absolutely love the beach and so for the last couple of years, we’ve made sure to take a trip to the beach.

Ok, so let’s dive in and take a look these 8 fun places for families to visit!
Disney World – Well, of course this one makes the list! My daughter and I have visited this truly magical place once and are seriously overdue for another visit. Why have I taken so long to return?! We loved visiting Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. Visiting Disney World requires some serious planning in terms of where to stay, what to do when visiting the parks, and how much to spend. Plan wisely and enjoy your vacation! This fun blog is all things Disney…check it out!
The Beach – Yessss…and of course! Choose one of your favorites or research a new one to visit. I personally love the beautiful, emerald green beaches of Florida. Alabama’s gulf coast isn’t too bad either. I’m talking beautiful, pearl-white sand and the relaxing sounds of the waves. You can’t go wrong with a beach vacation! Be safe out there, plan wisely, and enjoy!
Local Attractions – You’ve probably never visited some of the local attractions right in your city. Take time to research and explore those places. You’ll be amazed at the history and the enjoyment you can have right in your backyard. Head over to your local chamber of commerce or do an internet search on your city. Then plan your staycation wisely and enjoy!
Aquariums – If your city doesn’t have an aquarium, maybe one close to you does. These places are not only fun but are true learning centers. You and your kids will enjoy watching how these sea animals interact with one another. Plan to visit an aquarium, plan wisely, and enjoy!
The Grand Canyon – I had to add this to my list because this is a place I must visit. It is run by the National Park Service and is a true treasure in our country. As you do your research, you will find that there are many places to visit that are managed by the park service. Plan wisely and enjoy!
A Ski Trip – Ok, this is another thing on my must do list! I have friends who have gone on several ski trips and really enjoy them. I just never had the chance to go. But now is the time! Pick a family friendly place, plan wisely, and enjoy!
Washington, D.C . – Well of course! This place is our nation’s capital. We all should take in its sights and history at least twice in our lives. I have been here twice and I’m ready to return with my daughter. Don’t miss out on the treasure of this place from the White House to the Smithsonian. It’s all there waiting on your arrival! Plan wisely and enjoy with your family!
Cruise – I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy a couple of cruise excursions. If you like being out on the open ocean, non-stop food service, all night entertainment – then a cruise is made for you! Cruise ships usually have child care on board for those times when you need to do some adult things. And you must know that Disney offers cruises as well! Talk about family-friendly! Plan wisely and enjoy a cruise with your kids!
Tell me about your most memorable vacation! Where did you go?
